As much as I hate to admit this, there is a lot of credibility to some of the accounts of dishonest individuals here in Thailand, taking advantage of local tourist who are on Holiday. We have heard accounts from our guests of individuals being charged large amounts of money for damages to rented items here in Pattaya, plus there are some accounts of tourist being taken advantage of in South Thailand as well. Luckily, all of these accounts have dealt with one group of vendors who rent jet skis here in Pattaya. For now I would advise all guests with Asianbeachhouse to avoid renting any jet skis while on their vacation here. If you do choose to rent a jet ski please do so at your own risk. We are currently working out contracts with local jet ski owners for our customers. This will allow you to rent the equipment from these select vendors worry free at the same cost as normal. We are looking to make nothing from this, but simply to provide our customers with a better and safer environment for their holidays.

As far as the rooms that you rent with us, you can rent from us worry free. A representative of asianbeachhouse.com will photograph the whole room prior to your check in to protect you from any mistakes by property owners. We also have an arrangement with all our condo owners that for any real damage to the room, they must take the lowest estimate, between their estimate, our estimate or the travelers estimate ,if the traveler chooses to find someone to do the work. Any disagreements arising from this will be sorted out between Asianbeachhouse.com and the condo owner, so you can be assured that you will not be taken advantage of while you are staying with us.

We will update this posting if in the future when there is any changes by the government here in Thailand. Currently the Tourist Authority, Tourist Police and Local governments are all working on a solution that will protect tourists while they stay here.
